Archiving Policy

JCISS is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published content.

To safeguard the scholarly record and ensure permanent access to published articles, the journal utilizes trusted digital preservation and archiving systems. Published content is preserved through:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN);
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), where available;
  • Institutional and journal-managed backups;
  • Additional preservation services adopted by the journal in the future.

In the event that publication of the journal is discontinued, all previously published content will remain accessible through the journal archive and preservation services to ensure continued availability to the scholarly community.

Through its archiving policy, JCISS seeks to preserve the integrity, accessibility, and permanence of the academic record for future generations of researchers, students, policymakers, and the wider public.
